Internet of Sports session

The Internet of Things and People Research Centre will organize a session at the 20th annual congress of the European College of Sport Science, ECSS. The congress will be arranged in Malmö on June 24-27, 2015.

The session theme is “Internet of Sports: Augmenting sports technology for performance and pleasure”, and it will host distinguished researchers such as Stina Nylander of the Swedish Institute of Computer Science and Joe Marshall of Mixed Reality Lab at the University of Nottingham.

It is expected that more than 3000 sports researchers and practitioners from all over the world will participate in the congress, which has a multi-disciplinary focus spanning research areas, such as, physiology, bio-mechanics, sociology, and sports medicine.
